sign in to your shopify account copy your url from the address bar activate shopify custom api and create your private app to get your access token click on the app section go to the app and sales channel settings click the develop apps for your store button enable api, if you haven’t enabled it before to do this, click the allow custom app development button confirm api activation click the create an app button set the name for your app (e g, albato) click the create app button click the configure admin api scopes check the following boxes customers, draft orders, orders click the save button go to the api credentials section click the install app button to generate a token click the reveal token once button to see and copy your token important if you leave this page and don't copy the token, it will not be available and you will have to create a new app paste this token into the "create a connection to shopify" pop up and click the continue button the connection is ready!
